The desert wind

The desert wind

Blows blows and blows

It quarrels as it sways trees

Carries dust, whistles past our

Our bedrooms

And leaves dust lying

On the floor

And on items

It whistles past

Our livestock

It carries with it the night calm

And deposits echoes of

The deserts barrenness.

The desert wind whirls

And whirls

Carries sand and twigs

Far away

To a distant desert.

The desert wind wishes

We all wither

In its blow and whirl
