My jar was golden, all gold
It shone, it glittered, it sparkled
I held it carefully in both hands
My eyes never left my jar
I carried it around, in my hands
I dreamt my jar, I spoke my jar
The golden jar was me
But I stumbled
My toe trapped by a creeper
My jar came off my hands
Tears clouded my eyes
But the thud, I heard it
A million pieces it became
I sat there empty and knowing it
But my jar was gone, gone for good
I now will get a diamond jar
Unbreakable and reliable
I will carry it in my arms
But I won’t fear I’ll stumble
Coz I will pick it up
Without a scratch on it.
